Life in general

Your life sucks.  You hate your job, you hate your boss, and you hate yourself.  You are drowning in debt beyond your control, yet you spend more money on booze and drugs every weekend.  You don't have the time to take care of your three kids, and your spouse is cheating on you every night with the guy next door.  You open the paper to find only bad news and more bad news.  You can't maintain your lifestyle, and pretty soon the job you once had has gone down and out.  You've lost all hope and heart in the things that used to mean everything to you.  You are on a downward spiral destined for failure.

This seems to be the bleak outlook on life held by many Americans nowadays.  With two wars being fought and a struggling economy, nothing in this life is easy on anyone anymore.  The question often pops up: how did we get to where we are today?  It's easy to play the blame game, especially towards the people who are supposedly in control of everything in this country.  It's the same every four years: blame Clinton, blame Bush, blame Obama.  Never understood why it makes sense for  so many people to blame someone else who supposedly has so much knowledge to tell them how their supposed to live their lives.  And instead of looking for ways to solve the problems that are supposedly caused by others, we just sit in place dwelling on our discontent.  Where are we going with this?  Why isn't anything changing?  Why am I here?

Well I don't know about everyone else, but I'm not settling for that kind of lifestyle.  I got that your life sucks, so does mine sometimes.  I know the people in charge of you in your job and in this country might not be the brightest or make the best decisions.  Some things that are wrong with this country might be a result of their actions, and some might just be psychological.  But forget about that!  Your life doesn't suck because someone else made it that way.  Your life sucks because YOU make it that way.  If your life sucks, you need to get over it and start asking yourself, "what can I do to change my life?!"  Believe it or not, you have the power to change your life whatever way you want.  You have the power to transform something lackluster into something truly inspiring.  You are the one who sets the tone and who holds the pen that writes the words on the page.  Let go of the limits and boundaries you set inside your head - they mean nothing.  This world is yours to mold into whatever shape you choose.  Take control.  Fear no change.  It's time to live again...
